FAQ

Pricing questions.

Is it billed monthly?
Yes. Per site, per month. There is no annual lock-in on Single, Small group or Mid market. Enterprise can opt for an annual contract with a 10 percent discount.
What does onboarding cover?
Mapping your existing menu into the SafePlate ingredient database, connecting your EPOS through Square OAuth or the Access EVO API, pairing your POS and kitchen display devices, and a 90 minute training session for your floor manager and head chef. Once per site.
Do I need new hardware?
No. SafePlate runs on whatever device your existing POS already runs on, and the kitchen display is a web application that runs on any browser capable screen.
What if I am on Lightspeed or Toast?
Lightspeed is the next integration I am shipping, in Q3 2026, and Toast follows in Q4. If you would like to be the first venue on either, get in touch: I can prioritise integration work for committed pilot operators.
Can I cancel?
Yes, at any time. Subscriptions cancel at the end of the current month. I will export your audit data and ingredient library on request.
What about VAT?
All prices listed are exclusive of VAT. UK VAT is added at the standard rate at invoice.
